Conquer Online and private servers in brief

Conquer Online is a 2.5D MMORPG released by TQ Digital (part of NetDragon) in 2003 in China and in 2004 internationally. The game is built around free PvP, Guild War sieges and a PK system with Black Name marks. The official server is still running in 2026, and private servers exist as an alternative: they reproduce a chosen version of the game and offer their own rates, class balance and set of mechanics.

Versions and classes

The base classes — Trojan, Warrior, Archer and Taoist (Water and Fire) — are available from the early versions. Later, Conquer Online 2.0 and beyond added Ninja, Monk and Pirate, while the 2014 and 2017 updates introduced Dragon Warrior and Windwalker. Private servers split into two directions: some preserve the 1.0–2.0 classic era without later systems (Jiang Hu, Chi Power), others carry newer patches with rebirths (Reborn, Metempsychosis) and Sub-Class. The in-game currency Conquer Points (CPs) and resources such as DragonBall and Meteor are used to upgrade equipment.

Base rates and content sets define the pace of play. Low rates mean a long grind where each item matters, high rates a fast route into PvP.
